Atlanta Employment Law Firm Adds New Associate and New Member

January 3, 2005 – ATLANTA, GEORGIA – The labor and employment law firm of Constangy, Brooks & Smith, LLC is pleased to welcome two new attorneys to its Atlanta, Georgia headquarters. Jena Tarabula joins the firm as an associate. Carol Burkett Hawkins has been named a member (partner) of the firm.

Tarabula, a 2004 graduate cum laude of Georgia State University, will assist clients in employment litigation. She formerly served as a legal clerk for the Southeastern Legal Foundation and as intern for the Dekalb County District Attorney. Tarabula is admitted to the State Bar of Georgia. Her undergraduate degree was earned at Georgia Tech University.

Hawkins comes to Constangy, Brooks & Smith from SunTrust Bank where she served as employment law and human resources in-house counsel. She brings more than sixteen years’ experience in labor and employment law from both the in-house and outside counsel perspectives. She will assist companies in the areas of employment litigation and prevention, labor union matters, and workplace management training. A graduate of Loyola University of Chicago for both her J.D. and undergraduate degrees, Hawkins is admitted to the bar in Illinois, Pennsylvania, and Georgia.
