Macon Employment Law Firm Adds New Associate and Promotes Members

January 3, 2005 – MACON, GEORGIA – The labor and employment law firm of Constangy, Brooks & Smith, LLC is pleased to welcome a new attorney and to announce promotions in its Macon, Georgia office. Kelli J. Pushman joins the firm as an associate. W. Jonathan Martin, II and Kristie Brooks Smith have been named members (partners) of the firm.

Pushman, a 2004 graduate of Mercer University, will assist clients in the defense of employment litigation and workers’ compensation defense. Pushman is admitted to the State Bar of Georgia. Her undergraduate degree was earned at The University of Georgia.

Martin primarily focuses on representing management in employment litigation matters, providing general advice to clients as well as training companies on preventative measures to avoid litigation. He has represented firm clients in both state and federal courts and before administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Georgia Department of Labor.

Kristie Brooks Smith defends cases in the area of employment discrimination by representing corporate clients in ongoing litigation and by assisting these companies in minimizing litigation exposure and investigating discrimination claims.
