January 11, 2008 University of Tennessee College of Law Student Awarded Annual Diversity Scholars Award Knoxville, TN - Constangy, Brooks & Smith, LLC proudly presented its annual 2008 Diversity Scholars Award to University of Tennessee, College of Law student Ms. Goran Musinovic. Musinovic, a second-year law student, received a $2,000 scholarship. Constangy initiated the award program in order to recognize the achievements of deserving law students and help defray the considerable expense of law school, while promoting diversity in the legal profession. The firm awards scholarships to a second-year law student in each of the regions where it has offices. Award recipients were selected based on the following criteria: academic achievement; commitment to diversity in the community, in the student’s school or work environment; and personal achievement in overcoming challenges to reach goals. Musinovic, a native of Bosnia-Herzegovina, is ranked in the top 40 percent of her class. She is a member of the Student Bar Association and a student advisor.
