Presented By Constangy, Brooks & Smith,
LLC
High Stakes HR … Don’t
Leave it to Chance
Atlanta – Constangy,
Brooks & Smith, LLC presents its 2007 labor and employment
law regional workshop, “High Stakes HR … Don’t
Leave it to Chance,” May 31, 2007 at the Cobb Galleria
Centre. To register and for more information visit www.constangy.com
or contact Candace Langston at 404-230-6763. For human
resource professionals, up to six certification credits are available
through the Society for Human Resources Management and CLE credits
are expected for attorneys at no additional cost.
Employers gamble with employment laws every time they take significant
personnel actions with their employees, whether it’s compensation,
leave issues, discipline and discharge, hiring and immigration,
benefits, union organizing or just managing day-to-day employment
problems.
The annual workshop is an interactive program designed for human
resources professionals, corporate counsel, supervisors and managers. The
program includes a seminar manual that will be a useful resource
and is a cost-effective opportunity to get answers to questions
along with specific practical advice. Some samples of the
workshop breakout sessions are:
- Dealing From a New Deck--Recent Developments in Employment
Law
- Retaliation Roulette: How to Even the Odds
- Playing With Loaded Dice--Fair Labor Standards Act Exemptions
- The House Rules--Winning Workplace Policies
- FMLA High Rollers
The workshop will be held Thursday, May 31, 2007,
at the Cobb Galleria from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The cost is $195 for a single
registrant and $175 for each additional attendee from the same
company. This includes materials, continental breakfast and
luncheon.
