2006 DIVERSITY SCHOLARS AWARD TO
CUMBERLAND SCHOOL OF LAW STUDENT JAKARRA JONES

WHAT: Constangy, Brooks and Smith is proud to present its 2006 Diversity Scholars Award to Cumberland School of Law student Ms. Jakarra Jones at the law department’s Annual Awards Day Luncheon. Jones, a second-year law student, will receive a $2,000 scholarship.

WHY: Jones is ranked 9th in her class of 165, her GPA is 3.639, is the chair of BLSA Thurgood Marshall Symposium and is the only minority member of Cumberland Law Review. Constangy initiated the award program in order to recognize the achievements of law students who are committed to diversity, have overcome challenges in pursuit of their goals and have a continued commitment to diversity in the employment and labor law profession.
