EMPLOYMENT LAW FIRM ANNOUNCES SUCCESSION PLAN

Atlanta, GEORGIA  (August 30, 2005) - Constangy, Brooks & Smith, LLC has announced that Lee Boeke, Chairman of the firm’s Executive Committee, will be stepping down from his position in March, 2006. Boeke has held this position since 1997. He will remain active in the firm’s management functions and continue working with clients who he served while Chairman.

The firm’s Executive Committee has designated Neil Wasser to assume the role of Chairman when the transition is complete next March. Wasser has been with the firm since graduating from law school in 1980, and he is the grandson of the firm’s founder, Frank Constangy, who died in 1971. He has served on the firm’s Executive Committee, the Strategic Planning Committee, and in many administrative and management roles for several years.

“Neil is a respected firm leader,” said Boeke. “He has exhibited the qualities and skills to lead our firm in its growth objectives and continued excellence in client service. I have worked closely with Neil in recent years and will continue to assist him in meeting our strategic objectives.”

“ I am greatly honored to be named the next Chairman of our Executive Committee at this time in our firm’s history,” said Wasser. “Under Lee’s leadership our firm has doubled in size and enhanced all of our practice areas. We will continue our strategic growth and focus on cost-effective client service.”
