- Constangy, Brooks & Smith, LLC, a national labor and
employment law firm representing management, is proud to
announce Associate, Candice Sylvette Wooten, has been selected
as the recipient of the University of North Carolina at Chapel
Hill School of Law “2006 Outstanding Recent Graduate
Award.”
Wooten joined the Winston-Salem office in 2003, where her
primary focus is employment litigation - representing employers
in state and federal court. She frequently counsels
clients on a variety of issues related to the employer-employee
relationship, with a focus on diversity issues in the workplace,
and works with clients to develop strategies to address these
issues. In addition to her practice, Wooten is a member
of the firm's Diversity Council and an adjunct professor
in the School of Business and Economics at Winston Salem
State University, where she teaches courses in Business Law
and the Legal Environment of Business.
