Bob
Janowitz is a senior litigator who
specializes in every aspect of proceedings before the NLRB. He
has defended cases involving union organizing, collective bargaining,
single/joint employer status, successorship, discrimination,
healthcare bargaining units, "salting," and cessation
of operation. He also serves as chief negotiator in complex negotiations
for initial and successor labor agreements in many industries
including healthcare, transportation, warehousing, construction,
hospitality, retail, entertainment and manufacturing. Bob arbitrates
matters involving issues arising under collective bargaining
and individual employment agreements.
Before joining Constangy in 1999, Bob was a partner with the
law firm of Shook, Hardy & Bacon, LLP, where he served as
Chair Labor/Employment Section. Before entering private practice,
Bob served as Regional Attorney for the NLRB.
