ATLANTA— Law firms might not typically be known for their approachable personalities, but Constangy, Brooks & Smith, LLP is. The national labor and employment law firm has just garnered two WebAwards from the Web Marketing Association and a Best in Class Interactive Media Award from the Interactive Media Council, both in recognition of the firm’s approachable personality carrying through the pages of its recently revamped Web site (www.constangy.com).

Constangy won two Standard of Excellence WebAwards, one in the Legal category and one in the Professional Services category. In the competition, the premier award recognition program for Web developers and marketers worldwide, independent expert judges from around the world review and score sites in 96 industries. Web site entries from 47 countries compete head-to-head with other sites in their categories. 

The firm won the Best in Class Interactive Media Award in the legal category. Nominations for this prestigious award are accepted worldwide, with entries judged on design, content, functionality and other criteria.

Constangy launched its revamped Web site in Fall 2008, after almost a year of planning and research. Key to the new site was the fresh, clean look and the evoking of the branding message of “A Better Outlook.” The personality of the firm - and the lawyers themselves - shines through on each page, leaving viewers with the impression that Constangy is a different kind of firm with a different brand of attorney: likeable, knowledgeable, approachable and quite human. Since the launch, unique Web site visitor traffic is up 23%, and repeat visitors have increased by 61%. Constangy continues to keep content fresh and relevant for clients, prospects and other visitors.
