ATLANTA—The Georgia State Council of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) has named national labor and employment law firm Constangy, Brooks & Smith, LLP Company of the Year for 2009.

The Company of the Year Award recognizes a Georgia company that has advanced the human resource profession to ensure that HR is recognized as an essential partner in developing and executing organizational strategy. The winner of this Award serves as a role model setting the standard for other companies to follow.
