ATLANTA Editors of the ABA Journal today announced they have selected Constangy, Brooks & Smith, LLP blogs as two of the top 100 best law blogs. In the 5th annual Blawg 100 are Employment & Labor Insider, written by Robin Shea in our Winston-Salem office, and Work Matters, hosted by Texas Lawyer and written by Michael Maslanka in the firm’s Dallas office.

Now readers are being asked to vote on their favorites in each of the 12 categories. Anyone, including non-attorneys and non-ABA members, can visit
here  to register and vote. Voting ends at the close of business on Dec. 30, 2011.

"Blogging has become an important, even vital, source of information, education, entertainment and inspiration in the legal community. Whether written by practicing lawyers, law students, judges or law professors, blawgs are becoming more bold, more sophisticated and more integrated into the everyday experience of the profession," said Allen Pusey, editor and publisher of the ABA Journal. "And choosing just 100 of the best from our directory of 3,500 legal blogs is becoming an increasingly daunting task."

Launched in fall of 2010, Employment & Labor Insider has quickly become a favorite read in the employment law community. Known for its light-hearted yet informative tone, both it and Work Matters were honored by LexisNexis as Top 25 Labor & Employment Law Blogs for 2011. To visit or subscribe to Employment & Labor Insider, please visit here. For Work Matters, please go here.  Work Matters, well-read for its insightful pieces breaking down recent cases and discussing employment law issues in the news, was also selected last year as a part of the 2010 Blawg 100.
