Forty-One Constangy, Brooks & Smith Attorneys Honored as Best Lawyers for 2013

August 27, 2012

ATLANTA—National labor and employment law firm Constangy, Brooks & Smith, LLP, announced today that 41 of its attorneys have been named to the 2013 edition of Best Lawyers, the oldest and most respected peer-review publication in the legal profession. This constitutes a 41% increase in attorneys listed since the 2012 edition.

New to the list this year are partners Richard O. Brown (Birmingham), Teresa Rider Bult (Nashville), Timothy A. Davis (Kansas City), David H. Keller (Greenville), Heather Owen (Jacksonville), J. Ray Poole (Jacksonville), Stephen P. Schuster (Kansas City), David P. Steffen (Tampa), Mark Tilkens (Madison), Neil H. Wasser (Atlanta), and Gary R. Wheeler (Jacksonville).

First published in 1983, Best Lawyers is based on an exhaustive annual peer-review survey. For the new U.S. edition, more than 36,000 leading attorneys cast almost 4.4 million votes on the legal abilities of other lawyers in the same and related specialties.

Because of the rigorous and transparent methodology used by Best Lawyers, and because lawyers are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be listed, inclusion in Best Lawyers is considered a singular honor. Corporate Counsel magazine has called Best Lawyers “the most respected referral list of attorneys in practice.”

The attorneys and their practice areas for which they have been recognized are:
