NASHVILLE, Tenn.—  National labor and employment law firm, Constangy, Brooks & Smith, LLP, welcomes new associate Kate Summers to its Nashville office. 

Summers will practice in the area of litigation and employment litigation and defense.

Prior to joining Constangy, Summers completed a federal clerkship with Magistrate Judge Juliet Griffin in the Middle District of Tennessee. 

She attended the University of Georgia both as an undergraduate and as a law student at the School of Law.  During law school, Summers served as the Executive Editor for the Journal of Intellectual Property Law. 

Currently, Summers is a member of the American Bar Association, the Nashville Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association and the Lawyers’ Association for Women.  She is also involved in a number of community service activities such as Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee.
