Since the start of her legal career, Sumithra has focused mainly on the many issues facing small to medium size businesses.  In particular, Sumithra has litigated on behalf of businesses in the areas of sexual harassment and discrimination, wage and hour, intellectual property and general commercial matters.  She has also aided companies in their business and labor transactions, ranging from the preparation of employment-related agreements to business documents such as service agreements, asset purchase agreements, corporate formation documents, and trademark filings.
