Cherie Silberman represents employers in all areas of employment law and focuses her practice in the area of employment litigation. She has successfully defended management before numerous government administrative agencies such the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Agency for Workforce Innovation. Cherie has handled a wide range of litigation matters in all federal and state courts in Florida, including wage and hour actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, Family and Medical Leave, ADEA, USERRA, disability, breach of contract, defamation, negligent hiring/negligent retention, and whistleblower claims. She helps employers develop employment law compliance programs by reviewing and revising employment polices as well as training managers and other personnel on employment law issues. Cherie most enjoys working with employers to avoid lawsuits by providing risk management advice and counseling in all aspects of employment law.
