Overview

Rayner represents and advises employers in all aspects of employment law. Her experience includes defending claims brought under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, Title IX, the Rehabilitation Act, the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act, and additional state laws.  She represents employers in both single-plaintiff lawsuits and class/collective actions, and regularly defends claims at the administrative, trial, and appellate levels.

Rayner received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Colorado and graduated first in her class from the University of Alabama School of Law.  While in law school, Rayner was an Articles Editor on the Alabama Law Review.

Rayner began her legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable Brian D. Boatright on the Colorado Supreme Court.  Following her clerkship, she spent two years practicing civil litigation at an international law firm, gaining extensive experience in both litigation and appellate work.
