Award

Third-party professional content aggregator, JD Supra, curated a compilation of the most popular labor and employment law articles published on their platform in 2023, featuring two notable contributions from Constangy.

Included among the top 15 most-read publications for the year were Constangy partner Robin Shea’s article titled “When it comes to HR, don't quit your day job, Miss Manners” and partner David Phippen’s piece titled “Not half bad: New Virginia employment laws to take effect July 1.” were both included in the 15 top-read publications on the platform for the year. Of notable distinction, Shea's publication claimed the number one position as the most-read article in the realm of labor and employment law for the entirety of 2023.

David is senior counsel with the firm. He has for many years represented businesses in a full range of labor, employment and transportation matters. Robin has more than 30 years' experience counseling employers and representing them before government agencies and in employment litigation involving Title VII and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act, the Equal Pay Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act, as well as similar state laws. She also conducts employment-related investigations as well as training for human resources professionals, management, and employees on a wide variety of topics.
