Anjie Cabrera Joins Panel on Navigating Post-DEI Challenges at Hispanic National Bar Association Annual Convention
Constangy partner Anjie Cabrera will join a distinguished panel at the Hispanic National Bar Association’s (HNBA) 2025 Annual Convention, taking place September 3–5 at the Gaylord Resort in Oxon Hill, Maryland. Constangy is a proud sponsor of this event.
The HNBA Annual Convention is one of the nation’s premier gatherings of Hispanic/Latino legal professionals, bringing together attorneys, judges, public officials, business leaders, and law students for three days of networking, continuing legal education, and thought leadership.
Anjie will serve as a panelist on “Staying Grounded: Navigating Job Insecurity, Wellness, and Respect in a Post-DEI Landscape,” scheduled for Wednesday, September 4, from 12:45 – 2:00 p.m. This timely discussion will address how the retrenchment of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives is affecting Latino and Latina legal professionals, both professionally and personally. Panelists will explore the challenges of job insecurity, diminished advancement pathways, and the mental and emotional toll of working in environments that may feel less inclusive. The conversation will also highlight strategies for resilience, wellness, and maintaining respect and civility in a shifting landscape.
