Constangy partner Geri Lynn Arrindell will speak at the 2026 Employment and Labor Law Seminar, hosted by DRI Association of Lawyers Defending Business, taking place May 20–22, 2026, in Boston, Massachusetts.
This comprehensive seminar provides practitioners and HR professionals with a sharp, practical update on the legal and compliance issues shaping today’s workplace. Designed to be both timely and actionable, the program includes sessions on key employment law topics, including recent decisions, developments, and litigation trends, mental health, accommodation challenges, and strategies for identifying and mitigating workplace risks.
Geri Lynn will join a panel titled “Settlement v. Trial - Calculating Client Exposure, Value of Fees and Jury Awards, and Impact of Litigation Tolerance of Clients” on May 21 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. The session will explore how rising litigation and investigation costs, potential fee shifting, and trends in jury awards influence client decision-making in employment disputes. Geri Lynn will also examine how to assess a client’s litigation tolerance and identify the key cost drivers that shape case strategy, including the strategic use of scheduling orders to manage risk and expenses.
