The program - 'Substance Use at Work: Legal Compliance, Policy Development, and Risk Management' - will examine the complex legal landscape surrounding alcohol and drug use in the workplace, with a focus on compliance strategies and risk mitigation—especially in states where cannabis is legal. Attendees will gain practical guidance on managing accommodation requests, safety-sensitive positions, and disciplinary actions to help reduce liability. This webinar is approved for 2 general CLE credits in most states.

Keya Denner is a partner and chair of the Cannabis & Employee Substance Abuse practice group at Constangy. Keya is a seasoned labor and employment attorney with nearly 20 years of experience litigating and advising on issues from discrimination and wage claims to disability and leave laws. He is nationally recognized for his focus in legal cannabis and its workplace impact, and regularly counsels Fortune 500 companies on compliance strategies. Keya also delivers engaging workplace trainings on harassment prevention, best practices for managers, and substance use policies.

Tammy Woolley is senior counsel at Constangy with over 20 years of experience defending employers against claims of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and other workplace disputes. She regularly advises clients on employment best practices, drafts policies and handbooks, and conducts workplace training to help prevent litigation. Tammy also serves as an administrative hearing officer for a municipal personnel board.
