Kim Seten Speaks at Legal Value Network Webinar on Litigation Basics for Non-Lawyers

Speaking Engagement

Constangy partner Kim Seten will serve as a panelist for “Legally Sufficient” — A Non-Lawyer’s Introduction to Litigation, a webinar hosted by the Legal Value Network on Monday, June 22, from 1:00–2:00 p.m. ET. The virtual program will provide an introduction to litigation concepts and terminology designed specifically for non-lawyers.

The webinar serves as a preview of a crash course session that will be presented at this year’s LVNx Conference Experience. The program will explore litigation fundamentals from both U.S. and U.K. perspectives, including why litigation differs from other legal matters, the terminology and structure of disputes, common cost drivers and pitfalls, and opportunities for legal operations professionals to add value to litigation teams.

During the discussion, Kim and the panel will examine key considerations for professionals who support litigation matters but may not have formal legal training. The session is designed to help attendees better understand the litigation process, identify areas where operational strategy can improve efficiency, and recognize where legal and business teams can collaborate more effectively throughout disputes.
