Overview

Carolyn is a member of the Constangy Cyber Team and is based in New York. She assists clients with the development and implementation of comprehensive data security and privacy compliance programs in accordance with federal, state, and international privacy regulations, such as the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other emerging industry-specific and state privacy and cybersecurity laws. She also works with clients on matters involving advertising technology, marketing, and data processing agreements.

Carolyn practiced at a technology law firm specializing in data security and privacy compliance, incident response, and litigation prior to joining Constangy. She received her law degree from Boston College Law School, where she was involved in the International Human Rights Practicum and the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association. She also worked as a summer legal intern in a major insurance firm's in-house legal department and in a major biopharmaceutical company's global supply chain division.
