Overview

Joshua’s practice encompasses a wide range of labor and employment law matters arising in a broad array of industry settings. Joshua understands that each client and issue are unique and, as such, while the facts and the law are of paramount importance, so too is the need to have a strong understanding of each client’s business and objectives. As such, at the outset, Joshua strives to become well informed in all of these areas to ensure a particular matter is handled as efficiently and effectively as possible.

While Joshua’s goal is to assist employers in avoiding the cost and expense of litigation in the first instance—by providing uniquely tailored preemptive counsel, including management training (in the areas of litigation prevention, harassment, discrimination, leave issues, employment policies, investigations, documentation, and best practices for employers and preemptive counsel)—where litigation does result, Joshua is able to draw on the knowledge and expertise he gained during his four-year tenure as Federal Judicial Law Clerk both in the Northern District of Georgia as well as the Eastern District of New York. This knowledge provides Joshua with a unique perspective that enables him to develop successful procedural and substantive case strategies which resonate with the decision-maker (whether that be the judge when deciding a motion to dismiss or for summary judgment or the jury should the case proceed to trial on the merits) while avoiding common pitfalls which can ensnare other practitioners.
