Kathy has spent almost three decades helping employers correct tax and fiduciary issues arising in connection with payroll, executive compensation and employee benefits.  Her practice has taken her to the United States Treasury Office of Tax Policy; the Department of Labor, Employee Benefit Security Administration; through massive payroll corrections involving thousands of employees; and representation of clients before the United States Tax Court, various United States District Courts, and Courts of Appeals throughout the United States. Licensed in five states (Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, South Dakota and North Dakota), Kathy has a national tax and ERISA practice that is focused on assisting employers with compliance programs and corrections of document and operational errors.

Kathy’s unique approaches have allowed her to successfully resolve tax issues with the United States Treasury and state and local tax authorities, whether the matters involved hundreds or millions of dollars in payroll and income taxes, without burdening impacted employees or requiring employees to amend their personal tax returns.  Kathy’s clients include employers in all industries, non-profit organizations, healthcare providers, and school districts.
