Overview
Sarah is a member of the Constangy Cyber Team and is based in Los Angeles, California. Sarah has experience providing counsel on compliance with cybersecurity and data privacy legislation and regulations, as well as experience with managing data security and cyber incidents. She assists clients with drafting data privacy and cybersecurity policies and procedures and with implementing corporate compliance and privacy programs. Sarah regularly provides fully managed incident response services to clients of all sizes and in all sectors, including facilitation of digital forensic investigations and determinations regarding legal breach notification obligations to consumers and regulators.
Sarah also has a unique understanding of cyber insurance as a result of her time spent on secondment with a major cyber insurance company, including the challenges facing the carrier and the insured.
After receiving a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, Sarah attended the University of San Francisco School of Law where she served as a staff member on the University of San Francisco Law Review. Before joining a law firm, Sarah worked in-house for several San Francisco and Los Angeles-based SaaS startups.
