Constangy is pleased to announce the continued growth of its California team with the addition of two new attorneys. Anissa Elhaiesahar has joined the firm’s San Diego office, and Alexander Marx has joined as senior counsel in the Los Angeles office.

Meet the New Attorneys

Anissa Elhaiesahar
Anissa is a labor and employment litigator based in Constangy’s San Diego office. She represents employers in claims involving discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and wage and hour issues. Anissa also counsels clients on personnel policies, compliance, hiring, discipline, and employee classification. Her litigation experience includes handling discovery in FEHA and PAGA cases, drafting workplace policies, and representing employers before the EEOC and EDD. Anissa earned her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she served as Vice President of the Employment and Labor Law Society and participated in Moot Court. She holds a B.S. in Human Resource Management, cum laude, from California State University San Marcos.

Alexander Marx
Alexander joins Constangy’s Los Angeles office as senior counsel, bringing over a decade of experience representing employers in complex employment litigation. His practice includes defending clients in class and collective actions, PAGA matters, and high-stakes single-plaintiff cases involving discrimination, retaliation, and wage and hour claims. Alexander also counsels clients on compliance, litigation prevention, and workplace policies. He has extensive experience managing wage and hour class and PAGA actions and has handled all phases of litigation, including arbitration and mediation. Alexander earned his J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and holds a B.A. from the University of Southern California.
