ST. LOUIS – National labor and employment law firm Constangy is pleased to announce the appointment of Susan Bassford Wilson and Falon M. Wrigley, associates in the firm’s St. Louis office, to its Diversity Council. Wilson and Wrigley will act as editors of the firm's Quarterly Diversity Newsletter and assist in encouraging and promoting diversity in the community through the Council’s various programs.
The Diversity Council, comprised of a cross-section of partners and associates firm wide, addresses issues of diversity within the firm and within the communities where our attorneys live and work. Wilson and Wrigley will assist in accomplishing the firm's diversity goals, which include:
- To increase awareness of the issues concerning those of diverse genders, races, beliefs, identities and backgrounds.
- To encourage diversity internally, and create a workplace that values and respects diversity and inclusion.
- To encourage and support diversity in the community and the legal profession as a whole.
"Someone once said that it’s through diverse opinions and perspectives that a dynamic organization can drive innovation,” says Wilson. “I look forward to creating that kind of innovation both at Constangy and in our community."
Constangy prides itself in its inclusive environment that values and utilizes the contributions of people with different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives. The firm is a recipient of the Exceptional Service Award presented by the Georgia Diversity Program of the State Bar of Georgia.
