Targeted Expansion Continues at Leading Firm
ATLANTA – Labor and employment law firm Constangy, Brooks, Smith & Prophete, LLP continues its recent growth, announcing the arrival of new attorneys in its metro Washington DC, Kansas City and New York offices.
“As we approach our 70th anniversary, we’re expanding our footprint and setting our course for the next several decades of growth,” said Neil Wasser, chair of the firm’s executive committee. “It’s an exciting time to be part of the Constangy family, and to welcome Theresa, Taren and Jill to our growing team.”
Theresa Connolly is a new partner in Constangy’s Washington metro (Fairfax, Va.) office, coming to the firm from Isler Dare. She has extensive experience in advising and representing employers with respect to discrimination claims, harassment, contractor issues, wage and overtime claims, wrongful discharge, contract, tort actions and injunction proceedings involving non-compete agreements.
“Theresa is a skilled litigator who will be an asset for clients,” commented Jim Coleman, who leads Constangy’s Fairfax office. “But beyond her courtroom skills, she’s an exceptional trainer and counselor who helps clients avoid the courtroom by developing proactive solutions to many common workplace issues.”
In addition to Connolly, Constangy’s recently-opened New York office has added Taren Greenidge as an associate. Jill Moenius has joined the firm’s Kansas City office as an associate. Both new associates come to Constangy from Littler Mendelson.
These new attorneys are part of a larger growth initiative by Constangy, which recently announced the addition of Kansas City attorney Donald Prophete as a named partner. In the last several weeks, the firm has welcomed more than 20 new attorneys and announced the opening of offices in Denver and New York.
