National labor and employment law firm Constangy, Brooks, Smith & Prophete, LLP is pleased to welcome a new partner and a new senior counsel to its Century City office.
Kimberly Talley joins Constangy as a partner, bringing 25 years of experience in representing management in employment and traditional labor law matters. Defending employers of all sizes, in all forums, and in a broad range of industries including retail, grocery and health-care, her practice focuses on single, multi-plaintiff, representative and class-action litigation. Talley has been named one of the top 50 women attorneys in Southern California by the Super Lawyers publication on five occasions since 2009, and is a fellow of both the American Bar Foundation and Litigation Counsel of America. She received her J.D. from Harvard Law School and her undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina.
Sarah Kroll-Rosenbaum has also joined the firm as senior counsel. She comes to Constangy from Proskauer Rose, LLP, and previously served as a staff attorney for the California Women’s Law Center. Her practice focuses on complex employment litigation in the federal courts, particularly class actions and PAGA matters. She received her J.D. from New York Law School and her undergraduate degree from Barnard College.
These new hires continue a strong period of growth for the firm, which is celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2016. Earlier this year, the firm opened the Century City office, along with a new office in Miami. Last year, the firm added offices in New York, Denver, Minneapolis and Memphis.
“Our focus on diversity and growth over the past two years has made Constangy a destination firm for clients and attorneys who appreciate the ‘wider lens’ that we bring to the practice of labor and employment law,” said Ken Sulzer, who heads the Century City office. “Expanding the firm’s presence in California is a primary objective; and adding Kim and Sarah’s experience and credentials to the mix further enhances our top-notch class action litigation practice and deepens our ability to serve our clients in this important market.”
