Aren't we something!
Constangy has once again topped the list for best law firms for female attorneys. According to Law360’s Glass Ceiling Report, Constangy was Number One for gender diversity at firms
with 150-299 attorneys.
Although women have made up at least 40 percent of law students for the last 30 years, their representation at law firms, especially at the partner and equity partner level, generally has been disproportionately low. According to the Law360 report, women currently make up 36.3 percent of attorneys at law firms, a number which has stayed steady over the past six years. Broken down by position, women currently make up 45.5 percent of non-partners, 24.8 percent of partners, and 21.5 percent of equity partners.
Constangy and the other law firms that made the list demonstrated above-average representation for women attorneys at all levels. At Constangy, women make up 48.6 all attorneys, including 61.3 percent of non-partners, 38.1 percent of partners, and 30.2 percent of equity partners.
Way to go, Constangy!
