Overview
Brittany is a dedicated advocate who defends and advises employers in a wide range of employment law matters.
She believes that the best defense begins with a clear understanding of her client’s business, relationships, policies, and procedures. Brittany takes the time to learn about each client’s unique circumstances and works to develop creative solutions for challenges in the workplace.
Brittany represents non-profit organizations, municipal entities, educational institutions, manufacturers, franchise owners, security companies, restaurant and hotel owners, and other local and national businesses. She has defended clients against claims of discrimination and retaliation under Title VII, the Family and Medical Leave Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Fair Housing Act, and Alabama’s Workers’ Compensation Act. She also assists employers with internal investigations, drafting employment policies and procedures, diversity training, employee discipline, and broader compliance needs.
Brittany's approach is built on open communication and practical guidance. She partners closely with clients to proactively address personnel issues before they escalate and provides clear, business-minded strategies for resolving disputes. Her work reflects a commitment to protecting clients’ interests while supporting effective, compliant workplaces.

Brittany was born and raised in Birmingham and loves the Magic City. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her wife, Madi, and their beagle-mix, Piper. She also enjoys baking, reading, and swimming.
