Overview

Geri Lynn is a partner who provides strategic guidance and effective advocacy to employers in labor and employment matters, with a focus on employment litigation defense, investigations, and labor relations.

She works with clients across sectors—including healthcare, higher education, nonprofits, government agencies, and private businesses—helping them address workplace disputes, manage risk, and maintain compliance with evolving legal standards.

She has extensive experience advising on human resources policies, defending employers in complex litigation, and preparing executives for high-stakes depositions. Geri Lynn counsels’ organizations on early dispute resolution strategies and represents clients in arbitrations and before the National Labor Relations Board and Illinois Labor Relations Board. Her practical, results-driven approach emphasizes aligning legal strategies with business goals while mitigating the risks associated with discrimination and retaliation claims; as well as, regulatory challenges.

Before joining Constangy, Geri Lynn served as an Assistant Attorney General, representing state agencies before the Civil Service Commission and Police Merit Board. She also acted as litigation counsel for sheriff’s departments and nonprofit organizations in private practice. Drawing on her comprehensive background—including a Master of Social Work—she delivers tailored, solutions-oriented counsel to address employers’ unique challenges and priorities.
