Overview
Jeanette serves as Senior Counsel in Constangy’s Immigration practice, focusing on helping employers navigate complex immigration matters. With over 30 years in the legal field—including more than two decades dedicated to immigration—she partners with companies of all sizes to manage workforce mobility and compliance.
Jeanette concentrates her practice on labor certification and green card applications, guiding clients through the intricacies of PERM processes since the launch of the government’s online system in 2005. She also handles appeals before the Board of Alien Labor Certification Appeals (BALCA), manages a wide range of non-immigrant work visa matters and consults with clients on I-9 compliance issues.
Jeanette works with employers across the spectrum, from Fortune 500 companies to small, family-owned businesses.
Before joining Constangy, Jeanette practiced at several large law firms and taught paralegal studies at two universities. She frequently speaks at seminars on immigration topics, including I-9 compliance, sharing practical insights to help employers meet their obligations with confidence.
Jeanette continues to guide clients through the evolving immigration landscape, offering clear, business-focused strategies that support their talent and operational goals.
