Overview
Patrice advises employers on labor and employment matters, with a focus on risk management, workplace compliance.
She counsels organizations on a range of employment law issues, including discipline and termination, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, leave policies, and wage and hour compliance. Her work includes conducting internal investigations, delivering compliance training, and implementing preventative strategies to help employers navigate evolving legal obligations.
Patrice represents employers in litigation before state and federal courts, as well as administrative proceedings before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD) and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). She has experience leading complex labor arbitration cases and managing employment disputes across various state agencies. Before joining Constangy, Patrice practiced at an Am Law 100 firm and spent over five years in the public sector, advising senior leaders on labor and employment law issues across federal and state regulatory frameworks.
Patrice is actively engaged in the legal community. In 2025, she was selected as a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Massachusetts Bar Foundation and is a Past President of the Massachusetts Black Women Attorneys. She was honored as a “Top Women of Law” in 2024 by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly and was recognized as an “Up & Coming Lawyer” by the same publication in 2022. Her leadership has also been recognized through fellowships with the Massachusetts Bar Association’s Leadership Academy and the Boston Bar Association’s Public Interest Leadership Program.
Patrice’s experience across both private and public sectors, coupled with her commitment to professional service, makes her a valued resource for employers seeking strategic, business-aligned legal counsel.
