Overview
Rob advises and counsels clients on a broad range of labor and employment matters, including wage and hour compliance, employment discrimination, affirmative action, employee benefits and ERISA, and labor relations. He also defends employers in litigation before federal and state courts and administrative agencies.
With prior experience at the U.S. Department of Labor, Rob brings valuable insight into federal enforcement and regulatory processes. His work involved drafting judicial decisions and orders under federal workers’ compensation statutes, including the Black Lung and Longshore programs. In addition to his government service, Rob held employee relations roles in the private sector, supporting workplace compliance and employee engagement initiatives at companies such as Marriott Corporation and Electronic Data Systems.
Rob’s blend of public and private sector experience allows him to provide practical, business-focused guidance tailored to each client’s workforce and operational needs. He is particularly adept at helping employers navigate complex compliance requirements and manage risk across multiple jurisdictions.

"Discourage litigation. Persuade your neighbors to compromise whenever you can. Point out to them how the nominal winner is often a real loser -- in fees, expenses, and waste of time. As a peacemaker the lawyer has a superior opportunity of being a good man. There will still be business enough."
Abraham Lincoln, July 1, 1850, Notes for a Law Lecture
