Overview

Wei represents employers in a wide range of employment disputes and workplace matters, with a focus on litigation involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblower claims, and wage and hour issues. She has experience defending clients in both state and federal court, as well as in arbitration and mediation.

Wei also advises on employment policy development and provides strategic guidance to help companies reduce legal exposure and maintain compliant practices.

With a background in complex litigation, Wei has handled matters involving trade secrets, unfair competition, and contract disputes. Her practice includes representing clients across industries—including construction, retail, hospitality, technology, and entertainment—and she routinely works with both U.S.-based and international companies, including entities headquartered in China and Taiwan.

Wei brings a global perspective to her practice, drawing on experience in cross-border disputes and advising multinational organizations on governance and litigation risk. She is fluent in Mandarin and English and frequently counsels companies navigating legal, cultural, and operational differences in international business settings.

Wei earned her LL.M. from the University of Southern California and holds an LL.B. from the Central University of Finance and Economics in Beijing. She is admitted to practice in California and New York, as well as in the U.S. District Courts for the Central and Northern Districts of California.
