Overview

Anissa is a labor and employment litigator based in Constangy’s San Diego office. Anissa defends employers in a wide range of workplace matters, including claims of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and wage and hour violations. Anissa also counsels clients on personnel policies and compliance issues related to hiring, discipline, employee leave, classification, and compensation.

Anissa draws on valuable litigation experience from her prior roles at both boutique and national law firms. She has represented employers before the EEOC and EDD, drafted employee handbooks and workplace policies, handled discovery in FEHA and PAGA cases, and participated in depositions, mediations, and hearings.

About Me

Outside of her legal practice, Anissa enjoys Formula 1, cooking and baking, figure skating, and creating flower arrangements. On the weekends, you can find her enjoying time with friends and family at the beach or a coffee shop. She also serves as a law school advisor, providing mentorship, LSAT, and Bar prep for prospective attorneys.
