Overview
Craig is a member of the Constangy Cyber Team and is based in Philadelphia, PA, where he advises organizations across industries on managing legal and operational risks related to data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
Craig counsels clients through all stages of the incident response lifecycle—from detection and containment to remediation and notification—and coordinates with forensic investigators, regulators, and law enforcement to ensure swift and effective response efforts.
Craig has extensive experience advising clients on compliance with complex privacy and data protection laws, including HIPAA, GLBA, FERPA, and state data breach notification statutes, as well as regulatory guidance issued by insurance and financial services departments. He also assists organizations with risk management strategies to strengthen cybersecurity resilience.
Before joining Constangy, Craig represented clients in data privacy and security incidents, civil litigation, criminal matters, and regulatory investigations. His background includes handling high-profile investigative matters involving higher education and athletics, as well as serving as a judicial intern to the Honorable David R. Strawbridge of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Craig earned his J.D. from Cornell Law School, where he was a General Editor of the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy and a writer for Cornell’s Legal Information Institute. He received his B.A. in Political Science from Yale University, where he was a four-year varsity letter recipient and two-time team record holder for Yale Swimming & Diving.
He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
About Me
Craig is a devoted family man, lifelong athlete, and science-fiction enthusiast. Born and raised in Southeastern Pennsylvania, he is a Flyers, Eagles, and Phillies fan. In his free time, Craig can be found traveling, working on house projects, or taking long walks in the park with his wife and their dog.
