Overview
Kelsey is a labor and employment attorney based in Los Angeles who represents employers in a wide range of workplace disputes.
Her practice includes defending clients in wage and hour class actions, as well as single-plaintiff claims involving allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination. Kelsey works closely with employers—from small businesses to large corporations—to help them navigate complex employment litigation in both state and federal courts.
She advises clients through every phase of the litigation process, including early case evaluation, discovery, motion practice, depositions, hearings, and settlement negotiations. Kelsey frequently provides counsel to employers regarding risk exposure and litigation strategy, and regularly prepares pretrial and dispositive motions, settlement agreements, and liability assessments. Her litigation experience spans both the public and private sectors, and she brings a practical and measured approach to resolving workplace disputes.
Before joining Constangy, Kelsey gained experience handling consumer warranty and general liability matters, which enhances her ability to identify overlapping legal and business risks for her clients. She has represented employers across a variety of industries and understands the pressures businesses face when confronted with employment claims. Whether appearing in court, defending depositions, or negotiating settlement terms, Kelsey is a responsive advocate who works to achieve efficient and favorable results for her clients.
