Overview
Lynda is a member of the Constangy Cyber Team and is based in the Boston, Massachusetts office. She advises clients on cybersecurity, data privacy, and information governance, guiding them through complex incident response and compliance matters.
Lynda has more than 12 years of experience helping organizations in education, financial services, healthcare, insurance, and life sciences manage the full lifecycle of cyber incidents. She leads clients from initial detection and investigation through internal and external communications, notification assessments, and regulator or law enforcement engagement. Lynda also counsels on privacy programs, data mapping, and the development of policies, procedures, and training to strengthen overall readiness.
Before joining Constangy, Lynda managed responses to data security incidents and advised on corporate transactions, incident response planning, and privacy due diligence in M&A deals. She spent nearly six years at a national insurance carrier in leadership roles, overseeing complex claims under cyber, commercial crime, financial institution, and kidnap and ransom policies. Lynda draws on more than a decade of litigation experience to help clients evaluate third-party liability and reduce risk. She frequently speaks to industry and legal groups on cyber threats, ransomware, and the intersection of insurance and cyber risk.
Lynda earned her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School and her B.A. in Economics from the University of California, San Diego. She also completed a judicial clerkship with the Massachusetts Superior Courts.

About Me
Lynda is an avid advocate for the protection of voiceless animals, pulling dogs from kill shelters, rehabilitating them, and placing them in forever homes. She is a Board Member of the 501(c)(3) not-for-profit rescue, Addicus Legacy Dog Rescue. As a Boston sports fan, she also is confident that all communications properly should – indeed must – conclude with an enthusiastic “Go Sox.”
