Senate confirms John Ring to NLRB (updated)

Today the Senate confirmed John Ring's appointment to the National Labor Relations Board, filling the vacancy created when former Chairman Philip Miscimarra stepped down in December.

The confirmation of Mr. Ring, by a 50-48 party-line vote, restores the 3-2 Republican majority on the Board.

Mr. Ring is a management-side labor lawyer in the Washington, D.C., Office of Morgan Lewis.

Robin Shea has 30 years' experience in employment litigation, including Title VII and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act (including the Amendments Act).
