Welcoming Top Talent: Meet the Constangy Cyber Team's newest attorneys

The Constangy Cyber Team continues to grow with the addition of three outstanding new attorneys, allowing us to quickly and effectively respond to our clients' data privacy and cybersecurity needs.

Please join us in welcoming Lynda Jensen, Brett Swanson, and Steven Morris to the Constangy Cyber Team. Each brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, underscoring our commitment to providing top-tier legal counsel.

Lynda Jensen– Partner, Boston, Massachusetts

Lynda Jensen brings over twelve years of experience in the cyber insurance industry to the Constangy Cyber Team. As a member of our rapid response team, she will apply almost five years of experience managing responses to data security incidents and almost two years providing data privacy and security compliance advisory services as a Partner in other law firms. She will also apply almost six years of experience managing cyber insurance claims as a Managing Director and Claims Counsel for a national cyber insurance carrier. Her extensive experience and leadership provide valuable insight to both clients and team members. She is recognized as an outstanding “data breach counsel” for clients and a tremendous mentor for team members. Lynda’s full bio is available here.

Brett Swanson – Associate, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Brett Swanson brings extensive experience helping manage responses to data security incidents to the Constangy Cyber Team.  She has almost three years of experience facilitating necessary services to assist clients maintain or regain operations after a cyberattack. She applies that experience by helping clients implement best practices within cybersecurity frameworks, including deployment of appropriate security controls and compliance with state and federal, contractual, and industry-specific notification obligations. Although Brett has worked with businesses in all sectors, she is a subject matter expert in education law and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (“FERPA”).  Her education law expertise is informed by over three years of education law practice, including as an attorney for the Office for Civil Rights in the U.S. Dept. of Education. Steven Morris – Associate, Atlanta, Georgia

Steven Morris is an incident response attorney as a member of our rapid response team. He assists clients in responding to emerging online threats, including ransomware, business email compromises, wire fraud, and other types of cybercrime. He works closely with team members to identify and apply appropriate resources during the incident response process, including digital forensics, network restoration, and consumer notification and remediation services. Before joining the Constangy Cyber Team, Steven provided legal and strategic assessments for compliance in business and technology related matters for clients. These included intellectual property and content protections, and policies pertaining to product and business growth development, risk tolerance, cybersecurity and data privacy. 

We are excited about the experience and energy these talented attorneys bring to our team. Their addition reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering innovative, practical solutions that help businesses keep up with constant changes in data protection and privacy.
