Job Title: Litigation Support Analyst

SUMMARY:
The Litigation Support Analyst will provide firm wide Litigation and e-Discovery services. This will include project managing all aspects of Litigation and e-Discovery needs for attorneys firm wide. The Litigation Support Analyst will also provide guidance on the best use of Litigation and e-Discovery tools and processes to the firm.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Manage litigation technology-related inquiries from Firm attorneys and staff in support of the litigation practice group. Work with the litigation practice group to develop workflows to efficiently accomplish complex and/or high-volume litigation tasks.

● Communicate with clients and opposing counsel under the supervision of attorneys regarding technical matters or processes.

● Database creation, maintenance and archival:
◦ Load data and images from CDs, DVDs and other media sources to the firm's systems.
◦ Covert and manipulate data for loading into firm e-Discovery databases.
◦ Design and document software utility modules using scripting language.
◦ Perform complex tasks associated with OCR conversion, PDF conversion, CD-ROM creation and image printing that do not lend themselves to standardized procedures.
◦ Create e-Discovery/Review system databases and set up user accounts.
◦ Assist with complex database searches and generation of reports.

● Document production preparation (Branding, Redactions, etc.)

● Quality control of electronically stored information.

● Record EDD processing metrics.

● Provide on-call support as assigned.

● Maintain and share technical documentation for all e-Discovery applications.

● Participate in application upgrades, litigation technology projects and solution testing as needed.

● Consult with litigation practice group leaders and the CIO regarding ongoing assessment of the effectiveness of applications in the environment.

● Maintain a secure inventory of all client-provided electronic data on external media with defensible chain-of-custody controls.

● When required, travel to offices outside Atlanta and client locations to perform training or provide onsite assistance. Coordinate with third-party vendors as necessary to develop resources and relationships to meet needs for projects that cannot be handled in house.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
● Good oral and written communication skills; must be able to communicate effectively with senior firm leadership, attorneys, technology staff and vendors.

● Must be able to concisely communicate issues and document problem resolution.

● Must have strong experience with litigation and e-Discovery applications and systems as such, but not limited to: Casemap, Intella, Summation, ReadySuite.

● Must possess a strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive.

● Must be able to work with minimal supervision but deliver high quality work product, on time and within budget.

● Must have expert level experience with PDF tools.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Normal law office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like.
