We are pleased to extend this exclusive invitation to Constangy's Twelfth Annual Women's Network Business Circle Event, scheduled for Monday, February 27 – Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at the Belmond Place in Charleston, South Carolina. This is an invitation-only CLE and spa event. We hope you will join us! Please note that this year we are once again having the event on a Monday/Tuesday.

The Women’s Network
Constangy’s Women's Network is actively involved in providing internal and external networking opportunities for our women attorneys, clients, and potential clients. Our annual spa & CLE event is a way to bring women together in a "Business Circle" to participate in CLE, share ideas, and connect with not only Constangy women, but in-house counsel and HR executives in other companies. We have many clients (and non-clients) who attend our event year after year, and those women can tell you it is a relaxed, informative and entertaining two days. We attempt to keep the group size to less than 50 women, and most of these women are, like you, in house employment/labor attorneys or high level Human Resources professionals.
Your Acceptance Includes The Following
Constangy pays for almost all the expenses related to the event, including up to $250 in the costs associated with either your plane ticket or mileage if you are driving from home to the event. All planned meals at Belmond Place are paid by Constangy. Additionally, each guest will be able to select one customized spa treatment at the Spa at Belmond Charleston Place.
Constangy will cover your room accommodation for Monday night, February 27. For those wishing to arrive early or stay over for the weekend, we have arranged for you to take advantage of our group discount rate for those extra days. Please let us know (by selecting the option on the RSVP form) if you want accommodations earlier or later than Monday, February 27 (the prearranged group discount is $234 per night). We will make the reservations for these additional nights for you.

Monday, February 27:
8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.: Optional general employment law CLE program (cost $100).
12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.: Lunch
1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.: Official Business Circle Program (Employment Law CLE with interactive format)
7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (and beyond): Cocktails, Dinner & Entertainment
Tuesday, February 28:
8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.: Breakfast and Spa Treatments
12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.: Casual Lunch/ Women Depart
Optional Sunday evening activity
This year, for our guests who arrive on Sunday, whether to attend the Monday morning optional CLE or enjoy Charleston, we intend to offer a walking ghost tour as a group activity. Constangy will pay for the cost of this event. More details regarding the time and logistics surrounding this activity will be forthcoming.
BUSINESS CIRCLE PROGRAMMING:
As noted above, the official Business Circle program begins at noon on Monday, February 27, with lunch followed by CLE. We strive to provide our guests with very targeted, relevant CLE programming on various employment-law related topics. We typically send our guests the full CLE agenda once it has been finalized.
We also offer an optional Monday morning CLE program, for a small fee of $100. This program starts at 8:30 a.m., and offers additional labor and employment law related topics as well as breakfast.
You may indicate your desire to attend this optional session by selecting the option on the RSVP form.

Please note that because invitations to this event are highly sought-after, and we have a lengthy wait list, we request that you (absent extenuating circumstances) commit to attend this event if you RSVP yes. If an unavoidable conflict does arise, please immediately let us know so we can extend the invitation to another.
Please know, however, if for some reason you just cannot finalize your plans by January 20, 2017, reach out to us and we will work with you to try to allow some additional time to solidify your schedule or put you on the wait list in case another guest be required to change their plans. In that case, just email your Constangy contact, or Kim Seten, kseten@constangy.com.
Further Logistics and Flight Scheduling:
If you do not plan on attending the optional Monday morning CLE program, we recommend arriving on your flight no later than 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 27. If you plan to attend the optional program, you will typically need to arrive on Sunday (and indicate your need for an additional hotel night on the RSVP form). Please also let us know if you would like to be included in the walking ghost tour.
The event officially ends around 1:30 or 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28, after lunch. Thus, if you are arranging flights back out, something after 3:30 p.m. is probably safest.
After we have finalized our guest list and received all RSVPs, we will send a follow up email with more specific logistics for the event.
