Jacksonville Annual Labor & Employment Law Workshop

Seminar
Virtual Event
 | 8:30 a.m. to 5:05 p.m.
Join us (virtually) for our 2020 Labor and Employment Law Workshop! Like all of you, we’ve been monitoring the evolving impact of the coronavirus (COVID‑19). The safety of our registrants and attorneys is first priority. After careful review of government recommendations, we have decided to switch our 2020 Jacksonville Labor & Employment Law Workshop to an online format.
If you have already registered for our in-person program, your registration is automatically carrying over to our virtual program. All sessions will be presented! In coming weeks you will receive specific instructions on how to log in from a computer and participate.
Employers continue to grapple with changes and challenges in the labor and employment law arena. Keeping abreast of the workplace landscape is crucial for business, legal, and human resources professionals. For 38 years, the Jacksonville office of Constangy has provided clients and guests with an annual event which focuses on new developments and trends in an atmosphere that encourages open dialogue and the exchange of ideas.
In 2017, we altered our workshop to provide more advanced, in-depth analysis of the subjects covered in our materials and presentations. Continuing that tradition, our 2020 workshop, entitled "Labor & Employment Law Olympics," will go beyond discussions of workplace law fundamentals and will be geared to the needs of professionals who bring experience and an understanding of the essential concepts. Presenters will focus on the important subtleties of workplace law issues and the most critical points for decision-making.
Topics To Include:
  • COVID-19 Issues in the Workplace
  • Workplace Violence
  • Public Sector Update
  • Accommodating Disabilities in the Workplace
  • ADA/FMLA/Workers’ Compensation
  • Sex Harassment and Discrimination
  • Measuring Performance
... and much more!

Registration Fee: The fee for this full day program is $225 for each attendee.
