Constangy senior counsel Barbara Kihumba will present at the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) Georgia-Alabama Chapter Annual Conference. The conference will be held at the Emory Conference Center in Atlanta, Georgia from February 28th - March 1st. The 2025 theme is Borders & Beyond: Navigating the Maze of Immigration Law. Attendees will be eligible to receive 12.0 CLE credit in Georgia and Alabama.

Barbara's panel is entitled 'Leveraging EB-1 and EB-2 National Interest Waivers for Immigration Success' and is scheduled for Saturday, March 1st at 10:10 a.m. The panel will cover strategies for setting up an intake process, ethical use of AI to boost productivity, developing proposed endeavor and case strategy, and the pros and cons of EB-1 and EB-2 waivers.
