Cara Crotty Presents on Emerging EEO Trends at NILG 2024 National Conference

Constangy partner Cara Crotty will lead a session on Emerging EEO Trends at the 2024 National Industry Liaison Group (NILG) Conference. This event will be held from July 28 - August 1 in Orlando, Florida.

NILG is a non-partisan organization committed to affirmative action, non-discrimination, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Their annual conference aims to connect HR, compliance, DEI, and ESG professionals from business, educational institutions, government, and not-for-profit organizations. Cara's presentation, scheduled for 9:30 - 10:45 a.m. on July 30th, will provide an overview of significant EEO and DEI developments from the past year. Topics will include recent court decisions, legislative updates, and how these changes may impact employers.

Conference attendees will be eligible for HRM, HRCI, and CLE credits for their participation.

Cara Crotty leads Constangy's Columbia office and chairs the firm's Affirmative Action/OFCCP Compliance practice group. Cara advises employers on litigation avoidance and has defended against various employment claims, including discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. She assists federal contractors with affirmative action compliance and prepares compensation and pay equity analyses. Cara regularly conducts trainings and speaks on these topics at local and national events. Prior to joining Constangy, she worked as an Attorney-Advisor at the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Administrative Law Judges.
