College of Labor and Employment Lawyers Selects Zan Blue as Fellow

Press Room

Constangy, Brooks, Smith and Prophete, LLP congratulates Nashville-based partner William “Zan” Blue on his selection as a 2020 fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers.

The College was established in 1995 through an initiative of the Council of The Section of Labor and Employment Law of the American Bar Association. It operates as a free standing organization recognizing those who, by long and outstanding service, have distinguished themselves as leaders in the field. Election as a fellow is the highest recognition by ones colleagues of sustained outstanding performance in the profession, exemplifying integrity, dedication and excellence.

Blue, who joined Constangy as an associate in 1981, has held several leadership positions within the firm and currently serves as the head of the Nashville office. He is an experienced litigator in both state and federal courts, and also advises clients in traditional labor relations matters. He frequently speaks to employer groups and provides continuing legal education training for fellow lawyers. Zan is a Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 Certified Mediator and has held leadership positions with the Nashville Bar Association and the Tennessee Business Roundtable. He has also been recognized by Chambers USA®, Martindale Hubbell, Super Lawyers® and Best Lawyers in America®.
