Constangy attorneys are partnering with the Georgia Employers' Association to present a series of HR and employment webinars throughout Summer and Fall 2024.

This series will be tailored to HR professionals and in-house counsel in organizations across a variety of industries, including manufacturing, professional service, warehousing/distribution, and nonprofits. 

These webinars will be held monthly and schedule will be as follows:

  • July 30th - Handling EEOC Charges
  • August 27th - Wage/Hour Update with David Korsen
  • October 29th - Cybersecurity with Sebastian Fischer
  • November 19th - Avoiding Harassment Claims with Amanda Morejon

Each webinar is complimentary for members of the Georgia Employers' Association and $50 for non-members. 

David Korsen is an attorney out of Constangy's Atlanta office focusing on employment law. David defends employers in state and federal courts against claims filed under Title VII, ADEA, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and other laws. He also advises clients on employee relations issues. Having served as lead plaintiffs' counsel in numerous discrimination and wage matters, David's experience on both sides of the table provides valuable insight into case strategies from discovery through trials and appeals.

Sebastian Fischer is a member of the Constangy Cyber Team in Washington, D.C., with extensive experience in cybersecurity and risk management. He advises clients on compliance and governance frameworks to protect against emerging threats, drawing on his background with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). At CISA, Sebastian advised senior officials and received the DHS Secretary’s Award for Leadership Excellence.

Amanda Morejon represents employers in a wide variety of employment and labor law. She counsels and guides employers in actions brought under state common law and federal laws. Amanda advises clients on a range of practical management and employer issues such as hiring and termination, disability and leave issues, employment policies and practices, documentation, litigation prevention, and best practices.
