Led by chair Sean Hoar, the Constangy Cyber Team is at the front edge of cybersecurity and data privacy, serving as outside counsel to healthcare providers, financial services and technology firms, insurance brokers and carriers, retailers and manufacturers, and more. The team works proactively with these organizations to help maintain compliance with data privacy and information security laws, responds to more than 2,000 data security incidents annually, and provides representation in complex data breach and data privacy litigation matters. The Constangy Cyber Team is comprised of more than 40 experienced attorneys including former federal prosecutors, former state prosecutors, former privacy officers, former regulators, and attorneys that hold CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPT, CIPM, CISSP, and GIAC certifications.
